On my last vacation

On my last vacation, I went to Austria to visit my aunt Ademilde and my cousins Marcos, Sandra, and Claudia. My aunt lives in Bludenz. I traveled with my husband, my two daughters, my parents, and my niece. We spent twenty days there in July 2024.

It was summer, and the days were often sunny and hot. That made the trip perfect!

In the first week, we visited many cities, not only in Austria but also in Germany and Italy. On our first route, we went to Verona, Vicenza, Padua, and Venice. Then, we visited Graz, Vienna, Salzburg, and Munich. We saw beautiful places like Schönbrunn Palace, Mirabell Palace, the University of Vienna, and a wonderful tower called Donauturm, where we could see the whole city of Vienna.

So we rested for a few days in Bludenz again and visited some places around the city.

In our second trip, we decided to visit the state of Tirol, my grandparents’ homeland. We went to Sankt Johann in Tirol, Imst, and Umhausen. Then, we went to a region called Zillertal to visit a glacier called Hintertux. It was really nice! We took three cable cars to go up approximately 3,000 meters. The view was amazing! On the way back, we visited Mayrhofen and went hiking in a beautiful mountain full of flowers.

Another place that I loved visiting was Lünersee, an amazing lake at the top of a mountain. The place was gorgeous, full of flowers, and there were some cows too. It seemed like God had painted this place with His own hands.

So, it was an amazing vacation, and I hope to repeat it someday.
